Lee Joon-young's 'Pump Up the Healthy Love' is undergoing a major upheaval.
The 4th episode of the KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Pump Up the Healthy Love' (directed by Park Joon-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo, produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS, Bonfactory, Monster Union, KeyEast) will air today, Nov. 8, at 9:50 p.m., where the fitness fanatic gym director, Doh Hyun-joong (played by Lee Joon-young), who has adhered to a strict diet and exercise regimen, will let go of many things.
Earlier, Hyun-joong, desperate to save the gym amid a financial crisis, even risked his position as director to engage in an all-out effort. He took a final gamble by training the new member, Kang Cheol-nam (played by Jo Jung-chi), successfully attracting new members and bringing excitement. Im Mi-ran (played by Jeong Eun-ji), who had requested a refund from Total Life Care after being humiliated in front of her ex-boyfriend, also returned to the Pump Up the Healthy Love, adding intrigue.
Ahead of the 4th episode's broadcast, stills released today capture the contrasting reactions of Hyun-joong and Mi-ran in front of everyone's "soul food," chicken, which raises curiosity.
In particular, Hyun-joong, who usually exclaims "What the fat!" and rigorously excludes fat, surprisingly lets down his restraint and devours chicken in a storm, presenting a twist. The curiosity peaks as it transitions to Mi-ran, who appears gloomy in front of the chicken, deep in thought about why he is indulging in chicken instead of chicken breast. The two are expected to discover new aspects of each other through their meeting at the chicken restaurant.
Meanwhile, Hyun-joong and Rosa (played by Lee Mi-do) intensify the tension with a battle of nerves surrounding the gym. As the Pump Up the Healthy Love is stirred by their standoff, an unexpected situation occurs where Rosa is injured because of Hyun-joong. Trainer Alex (played by Lee Seung-woo), along with the gym members, 'The Witch's Trio' Im Seong-im (played by Park Seong-yeon), Yoon Boo-young (played by Lee Ji-hye), and Park Dul-hee (played by Hong Yoon-hwa), all witness the conflict between Hyun-joong and Rosa, appearing astonished. What exactly is happening to them? The fate of Rosa, who is told by Hyun-joong, "You should leave now," raises expectations for what other situations may arise during the broadcast.
