'Run to Live' Yang Jun-hyeok is challenging to complete the '10km marathon' with the support of his wife and daughter 'Palpali'.
The fourth episode of 'Run to Live', a special program celebrating the 30th anniversary of MBN, will air on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8:20 p.m., showcasing the 'Run Live Crew' participating in a '10km marathon' competition for the first time since joining.
Previously, the 'Run Live Crew' had revealed their process of continuing personal training for over a month, not just during the hellish group training but also in their daily lives. On this day, Bae Yoon-jung shared an episode about her knee injury and Bang Eun-hee mentioned her cervical disc issues, which led them to visit the hospital, but they do not give up their determination for the marathon. Yang Jun-hyeok also promised to 'fight' after receiving a full spread of 'steamed crabs' prepared by his wife. He shouted, 'I will complete this for our Palpali,' and Palpali waved to support him, bringing joy to Yang Jun-hyeok. Furthermore, Yang Jun-hyeok pledged again, 'I will eat the crabs my wife made and complete the '10km marathon'!' bringing a warm atmosphere. Yang Jun-hyeok experienced the joy of welcoming a daughter at 55.
In the warm support of family, the 'Run Live Crew' gathers at Gwanghwamun Square on marathon day. Arriving early in the dark early morning, Yang Jun-hyeok declares, 'Professional athletes must perform regardless of the situation. Let's avoid finishing last!' revealing his goal. Lee Jang-jun, the youngest of the 'Run Live Crew' who had secured first place in the previous '5km marathon' competition, aims high, stating, 'My goal is to be first among 15,000 participants in this competition.'
Yulhee, who had previously ranked 'first among women' in the 'Run Live Crew,' shares her ambition to be in the top five overall and first among women. However, in response to the production team's question, 'Is there a member who seems unable to complete today?' she expresses concern for Director Heo Jae, eliciting laughter. Heo Jae firmly vows, 'I will complete it even if I have to crawl,' drawing intense interest in whether he can succeed in finishing. Meanwhile, Bang Eun-hee, exhibiting 'cervical disc perseverance,' has a video call with her son studying in the U.S. to share the news of her participation in the competition, evoking emotional reactions.
Shortly after, Deputy Director Lee Yong-pyo gathers all members of the 'Run Live Crew' and makes a major announcement. He states, 'Today, Director Seon cannot attend due to an important schedule, but he asked me to ensure that not a single person falls behind,' then informs them, 'Each person has a set goal for this competition.' He continues to explain the mission, stating that they must complete the 10km within their designated goal time, causing Bang Eun-hee to exclaim, 'Why am I so nervous…' generated curiosity about whether the 'Run Live Crew' can achieve not only completion but also meet the goals set by Deputy Director Lee Yong-pyo.
The first official challenge of the 'Run Live Crew' for the '10km marathon' can be confirmed in the fourth episode of 'Run to Live', airing on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8:20 p.m.
