Actress Jo Bo-ah revealed her close friend Lee Dong-wook's tsundere charm and user manual, saying, "It takes a year to really know this brother."
On the afternoon of the 7th, a video titled "Jo Bo-ah, did I cause you trouble?" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Naraesik.'
Park Na-rae asked, "I've filmed a lot of melodramas; who do you think had good chemistry?" Jo Bo-ah replied, "Filming the drama 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' was comfortable and enjoyable. Lee Dong-wook seems tsundere, and Kim Bum is so sweet and kind," and opened up.
The tvN drama 'Tale of the Nine Tailed,' which ended in December 2020, is a fantasy action romance about a nine-tailed fox who settled in the city and a producer chasing after him. It garnered much love with stars including Lee Dong-wook, Jo Bo-ah, and Kim Bum.
Park Na-rae said, "They send each other coffee trucks a lot. They send it back and forth," to which Jo Bo-ah commented, "I probably sent it first. I just wanted to cheer them on" and added, "When I'm beside them, I can't express my feelings well. So I write messages on the coffee trucks, inserting words of encouragement or things I want to say."
Park Na-rae read a message written by Jo Bo-ah when she sent a coffee truck to Lee Dong-wook, saying, "Brother Dong-wook sometimes gets annoyed, acts sulky, and says strange things, but that's all because he wants to get closer. Please don't get flustered and just endure it for 10 times," and laughed, saying, "This is totally Lee Dong-wook's user manual." Jo Bo-ah confessed, "It's so easy to misunderstand when you first meet him. You might think, 'Why is he so prickly? Is he mad at me?' But that's his way of showing affection. However, you need to meet him for about a year to know that."
On that day, Jo Bo-ah also expressed her concern for Park Na-rae, who recently experienced a burglary.
Previously, on the 8th, Park Na-rae faced a theft incident, losing valuables worth millions of won from her home. Park Na-rae purchased a single-family home located in Yongsan, Seoul, for 5.5 billion won in 2021 and had shared her house through MBC's 'I Live Alone.' On the 7th, when she learned about the theft, she appeared unwell due to shock and canceled her scheduled appearance on MBC's Standard FM's 'Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio.' At the time, as there were no signs of external intrusion, there were suspicions of an inside job. However, it was eventually revealed by the police to be the handiwork of a 30-year-old man with multiple prior offenses.
Jo Bo-ah asked, "Did you manage to solve it?" and Park Na-rae replied, "I got all my things back last week." Jo Bo-ah said, "But it's lucky that it wasn't sold," to which Park Na-rae responded, "No, it was sold. It was sold, but unexpectedly, it didn't disappear in a very short time."
Park Na-rae mentioned, "Sister Kim Ji-min is getting married in July (to brother Kim Jun-ho), and she invited me to the wedding shoot," and said, "The days when women have to dress up the most are at weddings and reunions. Since my peers are getting married, I wanted to take out the most expensive bag I have stored away. Just as I was about to take it out, I noticed the bag was gone. I wondered, 'Why isn't it here?' And from that moment, my mental state went downhill," recalling the moment.
She continued, "I have a very persistent younger sibling, and I mentioned this to them. I told them, 'This is missing; I don't know what to do,' and that younger sibling said, 'It's 100% been sold at a secondhand luxury shop.' So they said they would look online all night to see if it had been listed. And it was listed. The color and year were exactly the same. So I reported it to the police, and that's when the news broke."
Park Na-rae said, "So I felt really sorry. I was supposed to meet for wedding shooting but couldn't. I couldn't say in detail, but the news kept coming out," while Jo Bo-ah remarked, "I didn't know that. I thought I should contact her in advance about appearing on Naraesik, so I texted, 'Sister, let's meet that day,' and she replied promptly. But the internet was flooded with news about her. I felt bad, saying, 'What do I do? I spoke casually… I'm sorry, sister.' I'm just glad we can talk like this and laugh."
Additionally, Jo Bo-ah also self-revealed a secret about her body, noting that while sweat dripped from her nose as she ate spicy food, Jo Bo-ah maintained a dry face.
Park Na-rae asked, "Do actors carry special medicine to avoid sweating? During our filming for the variety show 'From the New World,' which was on a hot remote island, we each mentioned one wish while outdoors. I said, 'I want to shower in the nude.' I thought, 'Whatever,' and showered. But Jo Bo-ah didn't sweat at all, she was so dry. I wondered, 'Do actors take medicine to not sweat?'" recalling that moment.
Jo Bo-ah said, "When I shave, I sweat in places I shouldn't," and Park Na-rae asked, "Where shouldn't you sweat?" Jo Bo-ah explained, "I don't shave my back, so I sweat there, and in that way, sweat comes out in other places. So I sweat in my belly. Sometimes I sweat above my belly button," bringing laughter. Park Na-rae expressed surprise, saying, "That sounds like a struggle," and Jo Bo-ah commented, "It's not really a struggle, but this area (around my belly button) gets wet," showcasing her down-to-earth charm.
Meanwhile, Jo Bo-ah married a non-celebrity husband she had been dating for a long time last October and will present her first work after marriage in the Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang,' which will be released on the 16th.
