Park Gun mentioned the lingering poverty associated with 'Han' on the 'Shinbal Talk Show - Strange Story.'
On the 6th, during an afternoon broadcast of SBS Life's 'Shinbal Talk Show - Strange Story' (hereafter referred to as Strange Story), they discussed 'Han' (恨) as a topic.
Park Gun explained, "Being poor was 'Han.' Looking back, it's not that I was a troublemaker and got scolded by my teachers in elementary school, but rather, I couldn't bring the necessary supplies because my family was struggling. I couldn't buy expensive supplies." He added, "I used to get scolded all the time, with the palm of my hand hit and my bottom smacked. That felt really sorrowful."
Professor Jin Su-hyun explained about 'Han': "I think Korea has created a unique and distinctive Korean sentiment due to its long history of invasion, war, colonial oppression, and division."
When asked if there had been a dangerous moment while playing near the water, Hong Ja mentioned, "There was one time when I was in the river after it rained the previous day. The water only reached my knees, but while crossing, I was swept away and spun around about 3 or 4 times upside down in the water."
Hong Ja continued, "When facing death, I looked for something to grab onto to survive. I caught a tree that was about this size, but it broke in less than a second. I was holding onto something that felt like straw, but I managed to endure."
