Lee Min-young discussed rumors about her personal life.
On the 6th, in the SBS Plus and E Channel entertainment program 'Soloraseo,' actress Lee Min-young talked about how she was hurt by past rumors.
A friend spoke about their classmates, saying, "There are quite a few kids who are single. I thought it would be good to take Min-young out with us. Min-young should be taken out."
Lee Min-young noted, "I am living well on my own and enjoying it in my own way. Since my dream when I was young was to be a good wife and mother, I think people find it unsettling that I am alone. I think they are worried about me."
Hwang Jung-eum asked, "Isn't there a decent person among the friends of your sister's friends?" Lee Min-young replied, "I have met a few people like that, but it's not easy," saying that connections did not continue.
A friend stated, "We went on a trip together, but they couldn't express what they wanted to say. I wondered how they couldn't speak up for their rights."
Friends shared stories from 20 years ago. Lee Min-young married actor Lee Chan in 2006 but faced a breakup after just 12 days, and she has since been plagued by rumors about her personal life.
A friend said, "I saw it at that time because I was in the hospital." Another friend recalled, "I went to the hospital carrying a child, and I felt so much pain," adding, "I received an interview request and spoke candidly. Since I knew the situation, I thought I should talk about it. I even said not to alter my voice."
A friend remarked, "I don't think such a situation would happen now." Lee Min-young responded, "I don't think I would have made that decision then if it were now."
Lee Min-young mentioned, "I have never searched for myself, but my friends said there are some absurd stories about me, so I searched. I found out there are unbelievable stories about situations that don't even exist."
Lee Min-young stated, "The rumor of rumors keeps intertwining, so I didn't know where to start to untangle it. As an immature adult, I struggled to express my story well. I didn't know what to do, so I let it be. I'm not someone who expresses myself well, so when bad things happened, I felt even more tongue-tied. I felt like I was experiencing some aphasia and stuttering."
Lee Min-young explained, "My family is all like me, so I didn't talk about it. They just said as long as you're comfortable and alive, that's enough," adding, "It was so shocking that I couldn't make a judgment."
Lee Min-young noted, "Back then, it was an era when you couldn't express yourself without going through the media. I was scared of contacting the media," adding, "I have a hard time expressing myself, but without a channel, I tended to hide."
MC Shin Dong-yeob said, "If social media had been as active as it is now, Jeong-eum would have posted like that," causing everyone to burst into laughter. In response, Hwang Jung-eum jokingly said, "Sister, start your YouTube channel."
Lee Min-young expressed, "I am scared and don't know what to say." To which Shin Dong-yeob advised, "There are many people who know the truth." Friends encouraged Lee Min-young, saying, "You can meet a good person now."
