Broadcaster Park Soo-hong mentioned the time when he was invited to 'Our Baby has been born', recalling the bewildering moments at that time.
On the morning of the 7th, a press conference for TV Chosun's 'Our Baby has been born', the country's first live-birth variety show, took place at the TV Chosun studio in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. At this press conference, MCs Park Soo-hong and Yang Se-hyung, along with CP Lee Seung-hoon, PD Kim Jun, and writer Jang Joo-yeon, participated in discussions.
'Our Baby has been born' is the country's first live-birth variety show that broadcasts the heartfelt moments that can only be felt on the day of birth, while supporting those who are expecting a child and sharing the precious journey until new life is born, in a time when babies are rare due to low birth rates. Park Soo-hong, a devoted lover and a late-blooming father, and Yang Se-hyung, a rising star in entertainment, have been selected as MCs, and the journey of 'archery queen' Ki Bo-bae and 'Hey Mom' Son Dam-bi's participation will be revealed.
Kim Jun, the PD in charge of directing that day, expressed gratitude, stating, 'They are performing their roles at 100% or more. Park Soo-hong, who can empathize as he recently became a parent, is the first to cry on set and, the first to jump around excitedly. It's pleasing to see him hopping. Yang Se-hyung also asks questions from the audience's perspective about things he doesn't know, expresses joy, and enjoys it, so we are very grateful from the production team's standpoint.'
CP Lee Seung-hoon noted, 'I know well, and the three qualities needed for the program's MC are sincerity, warmth, and curiosity. Park Soo-hong is warm, and both of them are very sincere. Even though they are a 5-minute standby, they come with great sincerity. Yang Se-hyung has curiosity that delves into various aspects. Such harmony seems to match them perfectly.'
Park Soo-hong said it has been 6 months since he held his daughter in his arms. He laughed, saying, 'I have to work hard, and I'm very grateful for the offer. But when I first received the call, I wasn't sure if Lee Seung-hoon, the CP, liked my style, but he said I would be contacted when desperate.'
He continued, 'Since the baby was born not long ago, work has decreased. The planning for 'Our Baby has been born' is fresh, but the baby is said to be born every week. I asked, 'Is that possible?' They confidently replied they would come home. They brought the project plan with my face and the reason for including it, saying they made the invitation. So it becomes, 'Will the baby be born?' I too had my baby after a set week. I wondered if this would work,' sharing his thoughts that were bewildered at that time.
He added, 'In the project plan, the expected date is written, but things are all mixed up, and although the babies that should come out are listed, some who shouldn't are already out. While we did this because we needed each other, I think this will become a program considered miraculous in the future.'
Especially when asked about his wife's reaction to participating in 'Our Baby has been born,' Park Soo-hong said, 'My wife has been preparing my clothes since dawn today; she's like my true comrade in life. She's supportive, and whenever I leave to make money, she holds the baby and always encourages me to do well. My wife really likes and supports this program; she was very excited at first, saying, 'It suits you perfectly.'
