Oh Yoon-ah from 'Solo Because I'm Single' shares her first meeting episode with singer Baek Ji-young, bringing laughter to the studio.
The 18th episode of the SBS Plus and E Channel entertainment program 'Solo Because I'm Single', airing today, 6th at 8:30 p.m., features Oh Yoon-ah visiting a traditional Korean medicine clinic for a health check-up and spending a healing day with her close friend Baek Ji-young.
On that day, Oh Yoon-ah said, "I think I've had a cold for a long time and inflammation is occurring all over my body due to stress," as she visits the clinic to check her health. She revealed in a consultation with the doctor that "I had thyroid cancer surgery in 2010" and "recently increased my medication dose for the first time in 15 years due to worsening health." Additionally, Oh Yoon-ah expressed, "Strangely, I feel like fatigue is accumulating, and my body cannot endure it. It feels like I've reached overload," adding, "I even have severe nosebleeds every two weeks, which is embarrassing when I meet someone." The studio MCs Shin Dong-yeob and Hwang Jung-eum exchanged concerned glances, wondering what is causing Oh Yoon-ah's health to deteriorate so rapidly and what the necessary prescription might be.
Meanwhile, Oh Yoon-ah meets her close friend Baek Ji-young at her healing space, a nail shop. Oh Yoon-ah reveals her special bond with Baek Ji-young by saying, "She is a mentor I rely on even more than a real older sister." The two engage in cheerful chatter while getting nail care and continue their conversation over a hearty meal at a restaurant favored by Oh Yoon-ah. During the conversation, Baek Ji-young reminisces about her first meeting with Oh Yoon-ah, who describes the situation vividly to Shin Dong-yeob and Hwang Jung-eum, turning the studio upside down. As curiosity arises about why everyone is in stitches over their first meeting, Baek Ji-young comments to Oh Yoon-ah, "It would be nice to come to such a great restaurant with a boyfriend..." before bringing up the topic of dating. She adds, "But you have no judgment when it comes to men," leaving Oh Yoon-ah dazed. Oh Yoon-ah sighs and, after pausing, shares a shocking remark her ex-boyfriend made, starting with, "Min-i (Oh Yoon-ah's son) ..." and gets choked up while explaining the meaning of her ex-boyfriend's words.
