Actress Gong Hyo-jin revealed plans to live in the United States once her husband, Kevin Oh, completes his military service.
On the 4th, a video titled "What does my Instagram ID mean? My favorite fashion? Gong Hyo-jin's Q&A" was uploaded to the 'For Now, Gong Hyo-jin' channel.
On this day, Gong Hyo-jin took time to answer questions sent in by fans. During the session, a fan asked, "I'm curious about your travel plans for 2025. I'm also interested in your travel style!"
In response, Gong Hyo-jin explained, "I already have travel plans for 2025. I'm going to Belgium. I plan to go to Belgium, then to Germany, then to Amsterdam, and finally to New York. That's my goal for this trip."
Upon hearing this, the production team expressed surprise, saying, "That's quite a long trip, isn't it?" Gong Hyo-jin replied, "Right. It's not a full tour, but I want to visit some places I haven't been before," adding, "And now I need to get ready to go into the United States. I need to prepare to move there."
The production team then asked, "By then, Kevin Oh would have finished his service, right?" Gong Hyo-jin explained her plans, saying, "I'm going right after he finishes."
Gong Hyo-jin further added, "What is my travel style? That's it for me. Being an ENFP, I don't usually go to famous spots. Even though I've been to New York, I still haven't seen the Statue of Liberty. Should I go see it? I'm not the type to do touristy things; I like to wander around like a local and enjoy staying in one neighborhood."
Meanwhile, Gong Hyo-jin married singer Kevin Oh, who is 10 years younger, in New York City in October 2022. Following that, Kevin Oh enlisted in the military in December 2023. As a Korean-American with dual citizenship, Kevin Oh explained his decision to enlist by saying, "I chose to enlist in the military to expand my musical activities based in Korea and to establish a stable home life with my wife in Korea."
