Yoonjeong of the group Woojinsohn (WJSN) has completed her flawless performance in the 'Debut's Plan' until the very end.
Yoonjeong concluded her journey in the survival project of Starship Entertainment's next boy group 'Debut's Plan,' which was broadcast starting from March 14, with the final debut evaluation on the 4th.
Yoonjeong participated as the artist team trainer for the 'Debut's Plan' board, leading the growth of the debut preparation group trainees 'NewKids' with each episode. With a warm and delicate perspective, she discovered the hidden strengths of the trainees and provided sharp feedback, assisting them in finding the right direction and becoming a compass-like presence.
In particular, she had a significant impact on improving the vocal abilities of 'NewKids.' By demonstrating directly to trainees who had difficulties with vocalization and teaching them how to produce sound more effectively, as well as sharing the know-how that Yoonjeong utilizes on stage, she became a steadfast 'sunshine trainer' for not only 'NewKids,' but also for the fans, through an enthusiastic training process.
Additionally, as a trainer who closely observed 'NewKids' more than anyone else, Yoonjeong showed her sincerity by visiting the trainees to encourage them and offer support during the process of guiding the 'Final Song' for the last final debut evaluation. During the judging process, she sparked deep emotions in many with her perfect evaluations that backed the efforts and growth of all the trainees, earning her the titles of 'emotional bot,' 'praise bot,' and 'comfort bot' in 'Debut's Plan,' showcasing her impeccable qualities as a trainer until the very end.
Yoonjeong conveyed her thoughts through her agency, stating, "It feels incredible that 'Debut's Plan' has come to an end; it was such a meaningful and happy time. When I first became a trainer, I thought about how I could be of more help to my trainee friends, and it filled me with pride to see them finding ways to grow on their own with just a little guidance. I believe I have been able to pour my heart into this. I want to sincerely tell all the NewKids who have followed along so well even though it has not been easy, 'You've done a great job,' and I want to send my support to the members of 'IDID' as they soar even higher in the future."
On this day, WJSN's Yeo-reum and Da-young were also present. Yeo-reum encouraged, saying, "I think the group name 'IDID' conveys a positive feeling of 'we did it,' and I believe it suits the NewKids well. I hope this team can show positive energy with that name." Earlier, Da-young, who had participated in the semifinal debut evaluation, showed her heartfelt support by carefully watching the stage.
Meanwhile, Yoonjeong is set to take on the role of 'Memoria' in the musical 'Frida,' which will premiere on June 17.
