Actress Choi Yeon-cheong became a mother after about two years of marriage.
On the 6th, according to OSEN's coverage, Choi Yeon-cheong recently welcomed her precious son through an emergency cesarean section at a hospital in Seoul.
Choi Yeon-cheong revealed on social media, "After 30 hours of induced labor, the cervix opened, but the baby was facing sideways, so we had to proceed with an emergency cesarean section," adding, "Now, I have been safely discharged from the hospital and am staying at a postpartum care center."
Choi Yeon-cheong added, "I am grateful that our son was born healthy, and I deeply thank my husband, teachers, and nurses who have been by my side continuously. I will raise him well. Thank you." Accompanying photos show her husband, a judge, gazing at their son, as well as Choi Yeon-cheong holding the baby, evoking a warm smile.
Choi Yeon-cheong married a judge in June 2023. Ahead of her wedding, Choi Yeon-cheong noted, "After returning to Korea from China, I took a break for three years due to health issues. I went through a really tough time after thyroid cancer surgery," adding, "As I start my activities in Korea, I am going to marry the very precious person who has always been by my side like a pine tree during my most challenging times, as well as the judge whom I sometimes respect."
Having debuted in the entertainment industry in 2016 with Super Junior's "MAGIC" music video, Choi Yeon-cheong appeared in dramas such as "Go Ho's Starry Night," "Miss Hammurabi," and "Where Your Eyes Linger," as well as films like "Rampant," "One Punch," "Princess Joan," and "Turn: The Street." Recently, she took the stage in the play "Changing Partners" while fluctuating between activities in Korea and China.
