'K-band scene's top rookie' Dragon Pony heated up the weekend with their carefree rock band appearance.
Dragon Pony (Ahn Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyuk, Ko Gang-hoon) held their first solo concert, 'Dragon Pony 1st Concert 'Not Out' in Seoul,' on June 3-4 at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
'Not Out' is the first solo concert that Dragon Pony has held since their debut in September last year, with all seats sold out for both days of the performance, showcasing Dragon Pony's remarkable growth. Dragon Pony performed all tracks from their first EP 'POP UP' and their second EP 'Not Out,' along with unreleased songs, bringing forth the passionate cries of incomplete boys on stage without reservation. They displayed their true worth as a passionate yet carefree rock band that embodies the energy of youth, sharing deep musical communication with fans.
In particular, Dragon Pony prepared solo parts that showcased each member's abilities, eliciting great responses from fans. First, Ahn Tae-kyu performed a cover medley, reinterpreting iconic songs from IVE, Bruno Mars, Stray Kids, Lady Gaga, and No Party For Cao Dong in his own style, putting on a 'vocal performance.' Pyeon Seong-hyeon and Ko Gang-hoon each delivered powerful bass and drum solos, providing overwhelming immersion. Kwon Se-hyuk went down to the audience during 'To. Nosy Boy' to perform a euphoric guitar piece at the same eye level as the fans.
Additionally, Dragon Pony first introduced 'You're Pouring' from the MBC 'Crushology 101' OST on stage, which led to a flood of requests for a official release of the unreleased song 'Earth Boy,' raising the heat in the venue to its peak.
Dragon Pony also presented a cliché of rock bands with a performance that included playing with their backs to each other while wearing sunglasses during 'STUPID.' The opening piece 'Morse Code' was decorated as an instrument change version during the encore, providing a fresh spectacle. While switching their parts, all members showcased their high skill level as if they were in their original positions, once again proving that they are a talented band.

Meanwhile, after successfully concluding their Seoul performance, Dragon Pony will hold their solo concert 'Dragon Pony 1st Concert 'Not Out' in Taipei' on June 23-24, meeting with local fans. Following Seoul, Dragon Pony is expected to completely sell out the Taipei performance as well, solidifying their position as 'K-band scene's top rookie.'
