The 'Goddess of Baeksang' Suzy expressed her feelings on the 10th anniversary of the event.
During the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 5th, MC Park Bo-gum congratulated Suzy, who was next to him, with a bouquet, celebrating her 10-year tenure. Having made her connection with Baeksang by winning the rookie acting award in the TV and film institutional sector, Suzy has fulfilled her role every year for 10 years since first taking the MC microphone in the 52nd (2016) edition.
Suzy, who received the congratulations, smiled brightly and said, "I remember my first time hosting. I was really nervous because it was my first time, but the excitement and joy of being in charge of the Baeksang were greater. It's a new feeling to think that I am standing here in my 10th year."
The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci, held at 8 p.m. on the 5th at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, is the only comprehensive arts awards ceremony in Korea covering broadcasting, film, and theater.
