NCT WISH member Sion, belonging to SME, successfully completed her first pitch.
Sion attended the ceremonial pitch event at the Kia Tigers and Hanwha Eagles game held at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on May 4 at 2 p.m., delivering a refreshing throw and pouring out filled with passionate support.
On that day, Sion took the mound and threw the ball powerfully, receiving cheers and applause, and noted, "I am very nervous yet excited to pitch at the Kia Tigers game, which I have been cheering for since I was young. It was enjoyable to support together with many spectators, including those like me who are 'Kia children' fans, and I think I will never forget today, especially since my pitches were canceled twice last season."
Especially, in celebration of Children's Day, Sion, who participated in the 'Early Kia Children's Day series,' wore a collaboration uniform with Kia Tigers and the animation 'Catch! Tiny Ping,' perfectly transforming into 'Sion Ping,' and eliciting responses with her fresh visuals and bright, energetic vibe. Her appearance sparked a discussion across various social media platforms.
Additionally, when NCT WISH's new song 'poppop' played during the fifth inning event time, Sion took to the cheering stand to showcase the choreography, enhancing the atmosphere. She also continued to passionately support the team from the spectators' seats, demonstrating her stature as a 'true fan.'
