'The Seasons - Park Bogum's Cantabile' supported everyone's dreams through diverse performances.
On the broadcast of KBS 2TV's music talk show 'The Seasons - Park Bogum's Cantabile' on 2nd, singer Kwon Jin Ah, Sarah Kang, group MEOVV, and Jannabi appeared, showcasing various performances across genres.
The first guest was singer-songwriter Kwon Jin Ah, who appeared singing the drama 'Melody's Body' OST 'Consolation.' Kwon Jin Ah recalled the time she first met Park Bogum at the Antenna office, saying, "I thought, 'Is it sunlight?' It felt like carrying around a reflector," which brought laughter. Kwon Jin Ah mentioned that many of her released songs are comforting, singing 'End,' 'Something Went Wrong,' and 'Butterfly' on the spot. Park Bogum certified he is a 'true fan' by mentioning Kwon Jin Ah's hidden tracks, and Kwon Jin Ah expressed her gratitude, saying, "How do you know everything?"
Next, Kwon Jin Ah sang 'Lucky' and 'As Dreamed' in succession to Park Bogum's piano accompaniment, moving everyone with her unique timbre and sensibility. Kwon Jin Ah introduced her new album, released after six years, saying, "Singing is becoming more and more enjoyable. When I was younger, I didn't understand well, so I felt anxious, difficult, and hard, but now I am grateful every day to be able to share my story."
In the newly established 'Counting the Stars' corner, singer-songwriter Sarah Kang appeared. Currently residing in New York, Sarah Kang revealed she flew in solely for 'The Seasons - Park Bogum's Cantabile.' She hesitated to appear due to changes in appearance and mentality after giving birth, saying, "It's something mothers who have had babies can understand. I thought, 'I wish you had come when I was younger and prettier.' But to show my daughter that 'even in any appearance or situation, you should be a beautiful and lovely person,' I decided to appear, thinking I need to show it myself," she said, showing an emotional response.
Sarah Kang, born in Busan and immigrated to LA, revealed that she became a singer-songwriter with the support and encouragement of her husband after working as a music teacher in elementary school. While playing guitar, she sang her song 'Home,' which holds her story, and Park Bogum accompanied her with piano. She also showcased the stage of 'Alone' by Crush, whom she ranked first for collaboration. Finally, Sarah Kang expressed her dream of receiving an award at the Grammy Awards, while Park Bogum gave a small gift for Sarah Kang's daughter, moving everyone.
MIYAO, who appeared on their first music talk show, left a strong impression with their debut song 'MEOW.' Unlike their strong presence on stage, MIYAO displayed a refreshing charm during the interview. They revealed they are an all-rounder group without an official position, stating, "When I first receive a song, I take the part that suits me best while singing along," showing confidence in their unique skills.
MIYAO member Ella surprised everyone by revealing her debut as a kids' model at the age of 2. Notably, Ella and Park Bogum both debuted in the same year in 2011, prompting Park Bogum to say, "Nice to meet you," and extend a handshake, bringing smiles. MIYAO performed 'Number One Girl' by Rosé and 'Let's Go See the Stars' live, followed by presenting 'TOXIC' to the accompaniment of Park Bogum's piano, raising expectations for future activities.
Jannabi graced the venue with freshness through their performance of 'We Who Grasp Green.' Since taking on the MC role for 'Choi Jung Hoon's Night Park,' Choi Jung Hoon visited 'The Seasons' for the first time in two years, praising Park Bogum's thorough preparation and professional demeanor. While promoting their concert, Jannabi performed 'The Hot Summer Is Gone, What's Left Is Unsightly,' 'For Hesitant Lovers,' and 'Thoughts on an Autumn Night' continuously, transmitting their unique emotions.
Jannabi explained about their recently released 4th regular album, saying, "I wanted to create an album dedicated to music. I focused on the joy that music brings." Regarding their title track 'In the Name of Love!' featuring Karina from aespa, Jannabi stated, "My voice is good, but I needed someone to bring a bright and light energy. I thought Karina was the only one, as I felt aespa uses a language that's incredible." Park Bogum expressed his jealousy, saying, "I also want to contribute to Jannabi's music work," while Choi Jung Hoon furthered the conversation with a pinky promise, showing excitement for future meetings.
