Jeon In-hwa shared her touching feelings while recalling her special bond with her mother-in-law, with whom she spent 30 years.
Having married at 25 and lived under one roof with her mother-in-law for 30 years, Jeon In-hwa said, 'I lived with my mother-in-law for 30 years from the moment I got married.' She added, 'While my mother-in-law was around, I didn't cook much. About ten years ago, after my mother-in-law passed away, I started cooking in earnest and only then began to enjoy the fun of kitchen work.' She noted that her mother-in-law was very considerate towards her daughter-in-law, Jeon In-hwa, who worked as an actress.
Jeon In-hwa also confessed, 'Even when she was over 90, she had dementia but still wanted my touch,' and added, 'She asked me to help with bathing, something she hadn't entrusted to my daughter. Seeing that made me feel, 'She really liked me.' Jeon In-hwa revealed, 'I hardly cooked while living with my mother-in-law,' saying, 'Only after my mother passed away about ten years ago did I start entering the kitchen. That was when I discovered the joy of cooking.'
In particular, Jeon In-hwa continued, 'My mother-in-law appeared in my dreams right after she passed away,' and said, 'She asked to be washed in a big bath and held my hand instead of my daughter's. I dressed her in a beautiful jade-colored jeogori, and she said, 'This is wonderful.'
Finally, Jeon In-hwa shared, 'Whenever I'm struggling, I silently tell my mother, 'Please watch over us well,' confessing her enduring family love that still lives on in her heart even after her passing, touching the hearts of viewers.
