Broadcaster Lee Sang-min, a former member of the group 'RooRa', has remarried after 20 years.
According to the industry on the 2nd, Lee Sang-min completed his marriage registration with his wife at a certain district office in Seoul on the 30th of last month, thus becoming a legal couple. His wife is a non-celebrity younger than him, and Lee Sang-min decided not to hold a wedding ceremony, fearing the spotlight that would be directed at her. After completing the marriage registration, Lee Sang-min participated in the recording of an SBS entertainment program and is reported to have received quiet blessings.
In the meantime, support from his ex-wife, Lee Hye-young, is also being highlighted. Lee Hye-young appeared on Lee Ji-hye's YouTube channel 'The Unlikable Attention-seeker Sister' last year and said, 'Lee Sang-min, why can't you get married?' and expressed her wish for him to have a happy family.
Earlier, on the 30th of last month, Lee Sang-min announced the news of his remarriage via his social media. He stated, 'I have found someone whom I love very much. I intend to move forward into the second act of my life with this person,' adding, 'This is someone who has made me want to protect them through any hardships, and I believe I can be happy with this person for a lifetime.'
He continued, 'Since this is a precious person I found late, I have been very cautious, and that is why it took time to inform those around me. You may be surprised, but I would be truly grateful if you could rejoice and bless us together.'
