Actors Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun have been appointed as official ambassadors at the opening ceremony for the '2025 Museum and Art Gallery Week.'
The '2025 Museum and Art Gallery Week,' which took place on 2nd at 2 p.m., is held to commemorate International Museum Day (May 18) and aims to expand public understanding of the social and cultural roles of museums while promoting access to culture.
At the opening ceremony, Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun shared, shortly after their appointment as ambassadors, "Two years ago, a work by a young fairy tale writer we met at a small museum in Jeju Island offered us great comfort," adding that it was a "precious memory of experiencing the great power of culture and the arts."
The two actors continued, "Museums and galleries are not just spaces to appreciate artworks but are living spaces that cradle weary hearts and instill new hope," and shared their experiences visiting the National Museum of Korea with children from the House of Angels, where they witnessed children dreaming through cultural heritage.
