In the fifth episode of KBS 2TV daily drama 'The Queen's House' (directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi / written by Kim Min-joo / produced by Flying Entertainment and Ascendio) airing today (2nd) at 7:50 p.m., the conflict between Kang Jae-in (Ham Eun-jung) and Hwang Ki-chan (Park Yoon-jae) unfolds around the kidnapping incident of their son Hwang Eun-ho (Ye Si-on).
Previously, Jae-in learned that the person leading Eun-ho's kidnapping was Hwang Gi-man (Kang Seong-min). Confused, Jae-in went to find Gi-man to verify the truth. Following this, a homeless person (Lee Bo-hee) and Gi-man, along with Do Yu-kyung (Cha Min-ji), apologized to Jae-in, kneeling before her. Witnessing this scene, Ki-chan shouted at his wife, saying, 'What are you doing right now?' injecting a tense atmosphere.
Amid this, a photo released ahead of today's (2nd) broadcast shows Ki-chan unable to contain his anger. Ki-chan misunderstands that Jae-in made the family kneel. Although a flustered Jae-in tries to clarify that this is not the case, her efforts are insufficient to calm his rage. Moreover, Suk-ja pretends to understand Jae-in's feelings while further inciting her son's anger.
The sharp confrontation between Jae-in and Ki-chan escalates. While arguing with Ki-chan, Jae-in is shocked by one of her husband's remarks and cannot hide her embarrassment. Curiosity arises over what Ki-chan's comment was and whether the two will resolve their misunderstanding and reconcile.
Meanwhile, an incident occurs where Suk-ja collapses, pushing the situation to extremes. This causes Jae-in to become an unintended scapegoat, leaving her restless. Additionally, her friend and sister-in-law Yu-kyung reportedly shows a cold attitude towards Jae-in, raising further curiosity about how she will navigate this crisis in today's broadcast.
