Jeong Eun-ji of the group Apink is leaving IST Entertainment, where she has been for 14 years.
On the 2nd, IST Entertainment announced through its official social media that "the exclusive contract between IST Entertainment and artist Jeong Eun-ji has recently ended," adding, "After sufficient discussion based on deep trust, we and Jeong Eun-ji have agreed to support each other's new paths."
The agency stated, "Since her debut in 2011 with the group Apink, Jeong Eun-ji has been with us for the past 14 years, steadily building her own identity as a vocalist and actress, while participating in group activities. Her remarkable growth, showcased through her authentic journey and passion over the years, has been a meaningful journey for us as well."
It continued, "We sincerely support Jeong Eun-ji's future and shining endeavors as she embarks on a new start. We also express our deep gratitude to the fans who have sent warm love and support to Jeong Eun-ji over the years."
Jeong Eun-ji debuted in 2011 with Apink and has been loved by the public with numerous hits such as "Mr. Chu," "No No No," and "D N D (디 앤 디)." She is also actively working as a solo artist and actress and is currently meeting viewers through the KBS 2TV drama "24-Hour Health Club."
