A total of 41 members of the Mannayu Choir will release the beautiful harmony in the CCM 'We Will Be Witnesses' at 12 p.m. on May 2.
'We Will Be Witnesses' is an original song based on the Bible verse from Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
The Reverend Shin Myung-chul, who supervised the album production, noted, "As we passed through COVID-19, the distance between people grew, and the world felt darker. Now is a time that requires greater courage to talk about love and spread God's message. In such a world, I have heard the clear voices of the Mannayu Choir children. The harmonies built by these small and delicate children still show that hope for the world is alive."
He added, "The children's praise is not just a simple song, but a pure confession to love God and to spread the gospel to the world. The song 'We Will Be Witnesses,' which will be the theme song of the Mannayu Choir, contains the children's confession towards the world. I sincerely pray that 'We Will Be Witnesses' becomes a part of all our lives and our praise."
Founded in 2019, the Mannayu Choir is a youth choir that praises God with the beautiful voices given by God and spreads the gospel. They receive systematic vocal training and learn choir every week while engaging in special performances by season, external events, and album productions.
