The 'I am SOLO' (나는 솔로) 26th episode featured the total appearance of 'gold singles'.
On April 30 (Wed), the real dating program 'I am SOLO' aired on SBS Plus and ENA, depicting how 'gold singles', who are perfect in both specifications and visuals but missed their chance at marriage for various reasons, entered 'Solo City No. 26'.
'Solo City No. 26' was set in Gyeonggi's Gapyeong, where beautiful snow flowers bloomed. The 26th episode, a 'gold special', was realized about two years since the 7th and 14th episodes, with the first appearance of Young-soo, dressed neatly in a coat. Born in 1980, he was an 'elite' who studied at S University and went to the United States for postdoctoral research, later appointed as a professor at a university in Busan. Young-soo, who had only dated twice in his 10 years as a professor, said, 'There was opposition from my parents regarding marriage,' adding, 'Now, even if there is opposition, it's not a problem. I will make it not a problem.' Following him, Young-ho, with a solid build, noted, 'Marriage is not urgent. The single women also revealed stunning goddess visuals and extraordinary specifications. Young-sook returned to South Korea following her studies in the U.S. and U.K. after her father's suggestion to 'consider blind dates,' claiming to have been on as many as 100 dates. Particularly, Young-sook caught attention by revealing that she had been set up with one of the male contestants from the 26th episode in the past. Soon-ja, a famous cellist who has held solo recitals at the Arts Center, shared, 'I was shy and introverted, so I didn't do well with blind dates. My mom told me this year not to miss my chance,' providing a desperate reason for seeking out 'Solo City.' Young-ja, who completed her bachelor's and master's degree in the U.S. and returned to work in Korea, revealed her passion, stating, 'I even get personal training at 11 p.m. After breaking up with my boyfriend due to family opposition in the past, I wonder if it's time to stop being picky about age and profession. I'd be okay with a divorcee if they don't have children.'
Born in 1988, Ok-sun revealed a heartbreaking story, saying, 'The person I met in my early 30s was so poor that both families strongly opposed the marriage.' She went on to describe her ideal type, saying, 'I hope for someone stable, and I'm open to a 10-year age gap.' Finally, the 'laughing' Hyun-sook expressed, 'I like quiet 'insiders'. Recently, I felt the desire to get married and have kids since my niece was born,' smiling. Amidst the gathering of seven single men and six single women, the selection of first impressions from the single men began.
