He added, "What we want to emphasize is that the bullying my sister experienced was not just some unfair thing that anyone might endure in life, but rather, 'a level of bullying severe enough to drive a person to death.'" He stated, "My sister made the choice to end her life after terrible suffering, while others continue to spend their days as if nothing happened, discussing the weather. This is how we feel it's a second act of offense against us."
He noted, "My sister is gone from this world, but it felt like a second act of offense to us to see them unfazed and living their daily lives. We, the bereaved family, hope that the perpetrators and those who turned a blind eye will acknowledge their wrongdoings and offer true apologies and reflections."
Finally, he remarked, "We express our desire to ensure that our sister can rest peacefully in heaven and to resolve the injustices. We ask for continued interest in this matter."
Meanwhile, Oyoanna suddenly passed away last September. At that time, the cause of death was unknown, but a media outlet reported on the 27th of last month that a letter found on Oyoanna's mobile phone indicated she had suffered from workplace bullying during her lifetime, drawing attention to the circumstances surrounding her death.
According to reports, Oyoanna informed four officials from MBC about this before her death, but they ignored her. The family urged for the truth, demanding apologies from the perpetrators and a sincere apology broadcast from MBC.
