Yewon, who signed a contract with Enter7, is promising active participation in her activities. Previously, she noted through her YouTube that "I'm currently involved in a lot of special grants and am constantly attending auditions and meetings. I won't let go of acting, of course. I'll work hard in acting and in entertainment as well."
Fans are focusing on what kind of path of success Yewon will walk.
Meanwhile, Yewon debuted in 2001 as a fourth-generation member of the four-member group Jewelry, joining in 2011. Despite the departure of Park Jeong-ah, Seo In-young, and Lee Ji-hyun, she showcased her bubbly personality and lovely visuals, actively participating in various entertainment programs, and kept the name Jewelry until the end.
In 2013, she successfully transformed into an actress through the MBC drama "Miss Korea." Since then, she has boasted her presence in MBC's "Hotel King," tvN's "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," KBS's "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," OCN's "Mr. High School," and MBC's "Miss Lee Knows."
In particular, in 2022, she drew attention for her bold transformation in the Netflix series "Suriname." She is currently looking forward to the May release of Disney Plus's "Nine Puzzle." "Nine Puzzle" is a mystery thriller that unravels the secret of a serial murder case that begins again with doubt surrounding the only witness and active profiler 'Ina' (played by Kim Da-mi) and the homicide detective 'Hanssem' (played by Son Suk-ku), who suspects him until the end.
