Former baseball player and broadcaster Kang Byung-kyu revealed the good deeds of 'national MC' Kang Ho-dong and Yoo Jae-suk.
In the web entertainment show 'Non Non Non,' which was released on YouTube on the 28th, Kang Byung-kyu disclosed the good deeds of celebrities he was close to in the past.
Kang Byung-kyu said, "There are people who sent money during difficult times. They are Hyung Ho-dong, senior Byeon Woo-min, singer Park Sang-min, and sister Jeong Eun-ah. They sent legal expenses, but I couldn't visit them to express my gratitude, so I'm talking about it here."
He also revealed, "It took over a year to become friends with someone like Yoo Jae-suk, even though we have been on broadcast together for several years; it took a year to drop the formalities. I wanted to become familiar quickly within a day, but I was worried that it would be uncomfortable if the other person's nature was not like that. So, I only met with him (Shin Jeong-hwan) to drink regularly. It took me a year to become friends with someone like Yoo Jae-suk."
Additionally, Kang Byung-kyu emphasized, "After the incidents, we communicated only through text messages, but they came to visit when my mother and father passed away. Even though I was in a situation where I was being pointed at by others, they came, and I was very thankful. I will never forget that."
He added, "So, when the good deeds of Yoo Jae-suk come up in broadcasts, it may not help to speak as someone like me, but I must mention it. Thank you."
Kang Byung-kyu was sentenced to one year in prison, two years of probation, and 160 hours of community service for habitual gambling charges, having transferred 2.6 billion won to an internet gambling site from October 2007 to May 2008 and losing 1.2 billion won through baccarat gambling.
