Broadcaster Kim Na-young apologized for the controversy surrounding her lack of public etiquette with her two sons.
On the 28th, Kim Na-young posted an apology on social media (SNS), stating, 'I am sorry. My thoughts were too short. I will be more careful in the future.'
Earlier, Kim Na-young shared several photos along with a post titled 'A weekend with a family of athletes.' The photos depicted her daily life with her two sons.
However, a photo taken inside an elevator came under scrutiny. In the photo, Kim Na-young's two sons were completely standing on the elevator handrail with their shoes on, stretching both legs out.
In response, netizens pointed out, 'Is it correct to have gotten off after wiping the handrail?' Kim Na-young replied, 'I wiped it well before getting off.' However, criticism followed, stating that climbing on a handrail used by multiple people was inherently wrong.
Kim Na-young married a financial industry employee, Mr. A, who is 10 years her senior, in 2016 and gave birth to her first son the following year. She then had her second son in 2018. However, after Mr. A was arrested in 2019 on charges of illegal gift trading, she divorced and has been raising her two sons alone.
