Hong Yun-hwa of '24 Hour Health Club' announced a goal to lose 40 kg.
On the 29th, a production presentation for the new KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama '24 Hour Health Club' (written by Kim Ji-soo and directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo) was held at The Saint in Sin-dorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul.
'24 Hour Health Club' is a heart-throbbing growth comedy in which the enthusiastic fitness fanatic, director Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Jun-young), dramatically corrects the lives of members who are overly worried about their fitness. Director Park Jun-soo, recognized for his directing skills through works like 'Gaus Electronics' and 'The God of Music,' collaborated cheerfully with writer Kim Ji-soo, who showcased delicate writing in 'The Postnatal Care Center.'
Hong Yun-hwa appears in the living room drama as Park Dul-hee, the youngest of the three witch sisters, registered at the gym to lose belly fat. In particular, Hong Yun-hwa has experience in fitness romance dramas through KBS2's 'Oh My Venus,' which aired in 2015.
Earlier, Hong Yun-hwa stirred interest by revealing her plan to lose 40 kg by Christmas on her YouTube channel, and recently noted in a radio interview that she has lost 17 kg.
Hong Yun-hwa said, "I realized strongly that being healthy in body and mind brings happiness. It resonated with me more after the drama ended than it did during the process. I reflected on things I didn't know or neglected about the methods. After finishing the production, I worked harder, and as of today, I have lost 17.3 kg."
She added, "I made a bigger resolution to try to lose 40 kg. It's not a matter of aesthetics, but I want to live a healthy tomorrow in body and mind. There must be many people like me, and if there are those who are neglecting their health, I hope they can see me and watch the drama until the end."
KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama '24 Hour Health Club' will premiere on the 30th at 9:50 p.m.
