ILLIT added a song with over 100 million streams on the world's largest music streaming platform Spotify.
According to Spotify on the 29th, the track "Lucky Girl Syndrome" from ILLIT (Yuna, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha)'s mini album "SUPER REAL ME" has accumulated 151,93,000 streams as of the 27th. Following the debut title track "Magnetic," it is the second song from ILLIT to reach this milestone.
"Lucky Girl Syndrome" is a dance pop genre with a playful whistle theme line that captures the listener's ear, encapsulating the positive vibe of ILLIT, who sees themselves as lucky. This song, which conveys ILLIT's quirky and bright energy, enjoyed great popularity alongside "Magnetic."
"Lucky Girl Syndrome" has also gained attention from foreign media. The British music magazine NME selected this song as one of the "15 best K-pop songs of 2024" last year, stating, "The charming 'Lucky Girl Syndrome' offers a refreshing feeling, as if taking a stroll through a fantastic dream where everything goes according to plan." They praised its "masterfully crafted production and the members' lively and brisk delivery that create a delightful magic."
Meanwhile, ILLIT will hold their first fan concert, "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL," at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, on June 7-8. Following that, they will perform in Yokohama at Pia Arena MM on August 10-11 and at Osaka Castle Hall on September 3-4.
