During the episode of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' aired on the 27th, Yoon Hyun-min shared his heartfelt story with his father, moving many to tears.
Yoon Hyun-min conveyed that he took a two-year break from work to care for his father, sharing, "When we were undergoing chemotherapy together, my father said he was sorry to me," revealing his feelings at that time. Yoon Hyun-min mentioned that his parents divorced when he was 3 years old, expressing guilt and affection about his relationship with his father during his childhood. He further stated that he built a house to spend time with his father. "I built a house to spend the last moments with my father, who had been given a terminal prognosis, but suddenly he became paralyzed, making the house with stairs meaningless," he shared, expressing his pain.
Yoon Hyun-min's stepmother praised him during the broadcast, saying, "When your father was unwell, you took a break from broadcasting and took care of him entirely," adding, "Your father must have known everything and was always grateful." Yoon Hyun-min shared that while caring for his father's illness, "my father asked me, 'Why are you not working?'" and reflected, "Looking back, I thought that seeing me on broadcast could make my father healthier, so I asked my agency about broadcasting." Eventually, he appeared in a baseball variety show for his father.
In particular, Yoon Hyun-min left a tearful interview for his father in the hospital, saying, "I raised my son well, so I hope you recover quickly and see me for a longer time."
