In the TVN weekend drama 'Seulgi's Medical Life,' Kim Hye-ja was rescued from a crisis thanks to her husband Son Suk-ku.
The episode aired on the 27th, revealing the struggles of Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja), who is threatened by souls escaping from hell, and the character Somi (played by Han Ji-min), who is mistaken for the soul of Lee Young-ae (played by Lee Jung-eun).
Lee Hae-sook mistakenly thought Somi was Ko Nak-jun's (played by Son Suk-ku) lover. Nevertheless, she was concerned about Somi, who was unable to breathe and was rolling her eyes in anxiety. Eventually, Lee Hae-sook sighed and said, "You must have your own story. I don't know what happened, but I can't say to make yourself at home. Just don't shrink because of me."
However, she could not hold back her words towards her husband. Lee Hae-sook asked, "Did you do something wrong? I won't say anything, so be honest. That girl outside (Somi), she isn't someone you secretly met before or while you were with me, right?" After receiving a stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis while caring for his sick wife, he was worried about how many days his wife had left to live, which led him to make a drastic choice that ultimately caused his wife's death, sending him to hell.
Park Chil-seok could not leave immediately. He just wanted to confirm whether his wife was in heaven. Thus, Park Chil-seok held a weapon to Lee Hae-sook's neck and demanded to know his wife's whereabouts.
Ko Nak-jun said, "You have to go to hell, Mr. Cheol-jin. Isn't that the only way to have a chance? You won't meet your wife here later, right?" while handing over a package that his wife had sent.
Ultimately, Lee Hae-sook, freed from the crisis, found herself in the arms of Ko Nak-jun. However, suddenly soothing Somi, who was plagued by nightmares, she saw the scene of hell unfold behind her, with Lee Young-ae walking among countless souls, stirring curiosity.
