YouTuber Enjoy Couple showed tears over infertility treatment.
On the 27th, the YouTube channel 'Enjoy Couple' revealed the infertility treatment process of comedian couple Im Lara and Son Min-soo.
Previously, Son Min-soo and Im Lara had reserved an appointment for in vitro fertilization. However, on the day of the procedure, Im Lara's endometrium did not thicken as expected, causing a delay in the treatment.
In the midst of this, Im Lara confessed, "I have gained weight like never before because I'm on medication. My face looks unfamiliar." Son Min-soo tried to boost her self-esteem by repeatedly saying, "You're beautiful," as she struggled with extreme stress.
Nevertheless, the difficult infertility treatment process led Im Lara to express concern, saying, "We are freelancers, but I don't know how people with jobs endure this cycle," eliciting empathy.
Barely, Im Lara's health improved; however, this time, a broadcasting schedule that had been arranged early on became a hindrance. Both Im Lara and Son Min-soo revealed their earnestness by praying together as they readjusted their schedules.
Finally, as the long-delayed procedure approached, Son Min-soo prepared eel soup, which is said to help implantation, as well as Im Lara's favorite strawberry cake. This ultimately brought Im Lara to tears.
Im Lara expressed her regret, saying, "I was frustrated that he wasn't coming," and confessed, "I've gained weight lately, and my self-esteem has dropped so much that I hate looking in the mirror. It's hard to see my face because I'm so bloated from the in vitro fertilization, and none of my clothes fit."
Despite this, Son Min-soo comforted her further, saying, "You are beautiful no matter what. I love you. Let's rally together. People know that we are doing something greater, more mature, and meaningful."
