Joo Won revealed on 'Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I Missed You' that he comes from a first-generation restaurant family.
In the 8th episode of the ENA entertainment program 'Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I Missed You' aired on the 27th, actor Joo Won appeared as a guest.
On this day, Joo Won, who has been consistently managing his diet since his debut, stated that he considers himself a big eater. Choi Hwa-jung asked, "Didn't you eat 40 hamburgers?" and Joo Won replied, "I did that when I was in middle school. I can confidently say that my family is full of big eaters."
Choi Hwa-jung then commented, "Our Joo Won's grandfather is a first-generation restaurant owner," revealing that Joo Won's grandfather's restaurant is a well-known traditional Chinese restaurant called 'HeeXdeung.' She added, "After hearing that, I suddenly felt very close to him. It was a tremendously famous Chinese restaurant at the time."
Joo Won said, "Former presidents and politicians also visited," and Choi Hwa-jung remarked, "But he said he was a grandson. I was so surprised and thought our Joo Won must have grown up well."
Joo Won recounted, "When I was young, I would sit at the counter. I would go and ask my grandfather to make me something delicious. I didn't know what this place was back then, but as I grew up, I started recognizing people like my sister. Everyone had such reactions, and I realized it was truly an amazing restaurant."
