Actress Lee Min-jung revealed the recipe for men's soul food "stir-fried pork."
On the 27th, a new video titled "Mr. BH's super easy stir-fried pork recipe that he eats 7 days a week *Why are men crazy about stir-fried pork" was released on Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel.
On that day, Lee Min-jung said, "Why do men all... like stir-fried pork?" and added, "It seems like men only eat stir-fried pork."
Earlier, Lee Byung-hun appeared on the web variety show "Pinky" and noted, "I like rice and don't mind side dishes," while stating that his preferred side dish is stir-fried pork. He shared, "I feel like I could eat stir-fried pork every day. When I went to Cannes for 'Emergency Declaration,' I went to a Korean restaurant for stir-fried pork before checking into the hotel."
In relation to this, when the YouTube production team asked, "How many times a week do you make stir-fried pork?" Lee Min-jung pondered and replied, "Seven times?"
Lee Min-jung then explained, "I do make a lot of it, but there are two methods. I marinated it in advance yesterday. The ones I marinated have a sweet red chili paste base. Half of it was eaten by my husband, and half was left. There are also two versions where I fry it right away."
She provided a tip, saying, "I marinate thick pork belly or neck meat in sweet red chili paste, and I fry the thin ones right away. Another important point is that it's done with green onion oil."
While cooking, a staff member asked, "Do your family members prefer the marinated or the thin ones?" and Lee Min-jung replied, "Jun-ho likes the marinated one, and my brother prefers the one cooked right away."
After the cooking was finished, a male staff member who tasted Lee Min-jung's stir-fried pork exclaimed, "It's a flavor that could be enjoyed 7 days a week. It's so delicious," and Lee Min-jung wondered, "I find it intriguing. Why is it that men feel this way? Why is stir-fried pork their soul food?"
In contrast, a staff member jokingly asked, "Why isn't it soul food?" bringing laughter, and after the filming ended, it was reported that all the staff members were seen tasting the stir-fried pork with chopsticks.
Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung has been married to fellow actor Lee Byung-hun since 2013 and has one son and one daughter.
