JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) boy group NEXZ is coming with old-school hip-hop that immerses listeners.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, Yuki) will release their second mini album 'O-RLY?' on the 28th. JYP will first unveil the music video teaser for the title track 'O-RLY?' on the 25th, previewing an exciting story, and on the 26th will add more teasers on their official social media channels, building up to the atmosphere of the comeback just one day away.
The earlier music video teaser featured a green candy that elicited curiosity among fans, helping to revive lethargic members and offering clues about its identity. The second teaser depicted NEXZ, having consumed candy and drinks, gaining amazing powers and moving between buildings like characters in a cartoon. Notably, all seven members underwent a dramatic transformation with blonde hairstyles and showcased a performance of 'O-RLY?' that radiated explosive energy through perfectly immersive facial expressions and exquisite choreography. The story of ordinary boys transforming into something special and anticipation for the complete version of 'O-RLY?' is growing.
Previously, NEXZ surprised everyone with a full blonde image during the physical album preview. The dramatic image change particularly drew attention online in Japan, with the keyword 'all blonde' trending on the social platform X (formerly Twitter). In connection with this, NEXZ noted through their agency JYP, "The most memorable moment was when all the members transformed into blondes while filming the music video for the title track 'O-RLY?'. I couldn't tell who was who since they all looked the same. Although it hasn't been released yet, we filmed the second verse rap part in many different ways, and it was a lot of fun.
