Members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung of the group TWICE participated in the soundtrack for the Netflix global animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters'.
According to an official announcement made by Netflix at 7 a.m. on the 24th (Pacific Time), TWICE's Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung participated in the original song performance for the new content 'KPop Demon Hunters', which will be released on June 20 in 190 regions worldwide.
'KPop Demon Hunters' is a hybrid action musical animation featuring globally popular K-pop superstars who secretly hunt demons outside the stage to protect their fans. It is produced by Sony Pictures Animation, known for global blockbusters such as 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse', and directed by Korean director Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans of 'Wish Dragon'.
Director Maggie Kang said, "I am glad to be able to work with TWICE's Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung. This collaboration played a key role in ensuring that the film and music hold authenticity in K-pop culture, and it shows that our goal of 'bringing a real K-pop group to life' has been realized."
