The agency of the groups TWICE and Stray Kids, JYP Entertainment, has urged caution against impersonation scams.
JYP Entertainment released a notice on its official website on the 26th titled "Warning about impersonation emails claiming to be from JYP's legal representative."
JYP Entertainment stated, "Recently, emails impersonating our legal representative have been distributed without authorization. These emails claim 'copyright and intellectual property rights infringement' and are designed to lure recipients into clicking on attachments that install malware." They emphasized, "If you receive such an email, please do not click on any attachments or links and delete it immediately."
They added, "JYP Entertainment is continuously responding to prevent similar incidents, and we strongly urge everyone to be particularly cautious to avoid damage from these impersonation emails."
