Singer and musical actor Lee Seok-hoon will present his original song "You Were" as a picture book.
On the 25th, his agency C9 Entertainment announced that "You Were," adapted from Lee Seok-hoon's original song, will be officially published on the 28th.
"You Were" is an original song released by Lee Seok-hoon in 2018 to commemorate his son's 100th day, and after about seven years, it will be transformed into a lyrical picture book featuring illustrations by artist Ha Soo-jung. The lyrics contain deep love and promises conveyed to a beloved child. The lyrics, which reflect Lee Seok-hoon's family affection and sincerity as a father, are expected to provide warm emotions to both child and adult readers through the picture book.
Lee Seok-hoon, who has openly expressed his affection for family in various broadcasts and earned the titles "National Dad" and "Sweet Daddy," previously donated all of the revenue from his original song "You Were" to children in need. He has also participated in a talent donation campaign reading fairy tales to children from underprivileged backgrounds and is known for his exceptional love for children, having participated in the 100th anniversary national children's song production project for Children's Day. During the COVID-19 period, he continued his charitable work for children by donating masks through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation and sponsoring childcare products to care facilities.
