Global girl group KATSEYE from HYBE will appear on South Korean music broadcasts immediately after their comeback.
According to HYBE and Geffen Records on the 27th, KATSEYE (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, Yoonchae) will consecutively take the stage on major domestic music broadcasts, including Mnet 'M Countdown' on May 1, KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' on the 2nd, MBC 'Show! Music Core' on the 3rd, and SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 4th.
KATSEYE's appearance on domestic music broadcasts comes about seven months after the activities of their debut EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong).' At that time, they left a deep impression on global fans with their distinctive vocals, outstanding performance skills, seasoned stage manners despite being newcomers, and rich musical expressiveness while showcasing their double title tracks 'Debut' and 'Touch.'
It remains to be seen whether KATSEYE will again capture viewers' eyes and ears in an instant. In the teaser for the music video of 'Gnarly,' the members hinted at a completely different aspect from the lively and lovely image they presented in their previous works. The music that flowed in the teaser video, though short, boasted a powerful beat and original sound.
Formed with six members selected from among 120,000 elite applicants worldwide, KATSEYE debuted in the United States last year after undergoing a training process based on 'K-Pop methodology.' The entire team, including Korean member Yoonchae, has shown love and respect for K-Pop.
HYBE and Geffen Records noted, 'KATSEYE, who have grown significantly by accumulating various stage experiences since their debut, are very excited and pleased to meet fans through South Korean music broadcasts.' They added, 'Please look forward to the new chapter of the six members beginning with the single 'Gnarly.'
