In the third episode of the SBS weekend drama "Haunted Palace" (written by Yoon Soo-jung, directed by Yoon Sung-sik), broadcast on the 25th, Kim Ji-yeon played "Yeo-ri," the only granddaughter of a famous shaman and a master of eyeglasses. He depicted Yeo-ri's struggle to save the spirit of Yoon-gap (Yook Sung-jae), making it impossible to focus on anything but the show.

On the other hand, Yeo-ri began to directly confront the Pal-cheok-gwi, heightening the tension. Determined to use herself as bait, he prepared with a resolute gaze and lured Lee-gwang. Concealing her true intention of saving Yoon-gap's spirit, she requested the Pal-cheok-gwi to become the owner of her body. In that moment, the Pal-cheok-gwi sensed something suspicious and fell into a predicament, but with the help of Kang Cheol-yi, she successfully extracted the Pal-cheok-gwi from Lee-gwang's body. However, the episode ended with Yeo-ri facing King Lee Jong (Kim Ji-hoon), who was possessed by the Pal-cheok-gwi, leaving viewers curious about the next storyline.
In this way, Kim Ji-yeon solidified her role at the center of the narrative of "Haunted Palace." He expressed the emotions toward Yoon-gap, which have been carried over from the past, with a pained expression, and while opposing the Pal-cheok-gwi, he shone his eyes brightly and recited powerfully, rejecting the fate of a shaman. Yet, driven by a single-minded desire to save Yoon-gap, he showed Yeo-ri's bravery in accomplishing anything. Thus, the future developments that Kim Ji-yeon will reveal in "Haunted Palace" are drawing attention.
