Actress Son Tae-young shared her recent weight loss progress.
On the 26th, a video titled "Son Tae-young, who keeps making us laugh, goes on a date to a new restaurant in New York (omakase, open run)" was uploaded on the 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young' channel.
That day, Son Tae-young visited a restaurant in New Jersey with Kwon Sang-woo. Kwon Sang-woo said, "We hardly eat dinner," and Son Tae-young revealed, "For breakfast, I try to eat Greek yogurt with no sugar, plain, with blueberries."
Kwon Sang-woo explained, "I also put almonds and some honey in yogurt. When I'm hungry, I eat two fried eggs. For lunch, I still try to eat actively," and Son Tae-young added, "For lunch, I eat whatever I like. I eat what I want, including noodles."
Then Kwon Sang-woo said, "I try to avoid noodles as much as possible. I also eat rice very rarely," to which Son Tae-young responded, "We had noodles yesterday, what are you talking about?"
He noted, "And for dinner, we drink something like a protein shake. After that, this person exercises in the morning. Walking for 30 minutes and weight training, not every day," and Kwon Sang-woo revealed, "I do it for an hour, 4 or 5 days a week."
Son Tae-young reported the effects of the diet, saying, "I definitely feel like my body shape is changing a bit. I think the swelling has gone down," while Kwon Sang-woo boasted, "Since coming to New Jersey, people have been telling me that my face has slimmed down, no matter where we go, be it a restaurant or elsewhere."
Son Tae-young expressed her frustrations by saying, "At first, eating dinner made me really hungry," but Kwon Sang-woo said, "It gets better after 4 to 5 days of training." Son Tae-young also mentioned, "It's really only about a week that I'm hungry, and after that, my head gets used to it. So I'm less hungry," but she added, "I eat dinner on weekends."
Kwon Sang-woo shared, "Because I have to eat with the kids. Besides meal times, it's hard to have all four of us together. Now that the kids are older, they go into their rooms and stay there," conveying a bittersweet reality.
In particular, Son Tae-young spoke about healthy lifestyle habits, saying, "At first, it's hard, but once you establish a pattern, it becomes easy. That's the hard part: starting. There's a lack of will. I'm the same. I have no will. But I was told at the hospital that I was deficient in vitamin D, so I should take walks. I need to get a lot of sunlight. As I get older, I start to think more about my health. I need to manage my blood sugar, take vitamin D, and iron. Anemia worsened after giving birth to Ri-ho."
