Singer Park Ji-hyun revealed a simple and human side to her life behind the glamorous appearance of the 'event prince.'
On the 25th at 11:10 p.m., MBC's 'I Live Alone' depicted a day in the life of Park Ji-hyun, who took the stage as the headliner of the 'Gimhae Gaya Cultural Festival.' On that day, Park Ji-hyun presented a flawless performance with a self-composed setlist that included nostalgic dance songs and traditional trot, showcasing her status as a trot top star.
After a splendid finale, Park Ji-hyun headed to none other than a motel. She noted, "Motels are much better than hotels. Hotels feel stuffy when you go in," revealing her unique lodging preferences. She then added, "I once spent two hours in the dark because I didn't know how to turn on the lights (in a hotel)," eliciting laughter with her comment, "To me, a motel is five-star quality."
Park Ji-hyun particularly prefers motels with bathtubs, showcasing the traits of a 'bathtub enthusiast' who enjoys the humidifying effect of hot water. He bent over without hesitation to wash his hair while filling the bathtub, brewed mix coffee in a pot, stirred it with a plastic bag, and exuded a vibe of a rugged man.
Late at night, Park Ji-hyun stepped out in a mix-match fashion of training clothes and dress shoes, heading to a baseball practice field. Ahead of his first pitch in life, he practiced and expressed his excitement and determination, saying, "A friend saw that I was pitching and said for the first time, 'You are trending.'"
Having received lessons at the BASS Academy, Park Ji-hyun continued to practice despite awkward pitching and hit-by-pitches, eventually proving his worth as the 'effort-based victory fairy' by successfully throwing a strike. After finishing his first pitch for the KIA Tigers cleanly, Park Ji-hyun expressed pride, saying, "Our team won big."
Meanwhile, Park Ji-hyun, who showcased a friendly and cheerful charm different from her charisma on stage, is set to communicate even more closely with fans through her debut nationwide tour, '2025 Park Ji-hyun Concert SHOWMANSHIP.'
