Yulhee from 'Running to Live' faces a limit as the final runner for the 'Loyalty Marathon.'
The second episode of MBN's 30th anniversary special project 'Running to Live,' airing tonight at 8:20 p.m., will showcase Director General Sean and Deputy Director General Lee Young-pyo leading all members of the 'Running Crew' in group training.
On this day, the 'Running Crew,' gathered at the Gyeongbuk Yeongju Citizens' Sports Complex, is divided into three teams to compete in the 'Loyalty Marathon.' Director General Sean noted, "We will start the serious training now, and since this track is 400m per lap, we will conduct a relay 'Loyalty Marathon' of 30 laps, awarding the winning team with the 'MVP badge.'" Shortly thereafter, the 'Running Crew' is divided into three teams: 'Sean VS Lee Young-pyo VS Yang Se-hyung' based on the results of the test competition the previous day along with their physical abilities and experience.
Following that, each team holds a strategy meeting to efficiently assign the order of runners for the 30 laps. However, coincidentally, the 'trio' of Heo Jae, Yang Joon-hyuk, and Choi Joon-seok, who battled in the lower ranks during the previous day's '5km marathon' test, all take the first turn, bringing about some amusing moments.
As a fierce competition is expected from the start, the 'Loyalty Marathon,' spanning 30 laps, begins, and the 'Running Crew' cheers loudly for their team. During this prolonged race, some members struggle with injuries and fatigue and are unable to complete several laps, leading to baton touches. Among the last members to join is Yulhee.
Yulhee, who topped the women's category in the previous day's '5km marathon,' runs silently for her team's victory, but the preceding members struggle to run as much as expected, making it difficult to achieve the goal of 30 laps. Finally, Yulhee laments, "I feel limited from now on, what should I do..." as she slows down. Attention is focused on whether Yulhee can successfully complete the 'Loyalty Marathon' in such extreme conditions.
On the other hand, Kim Seung-jin, who joined the 'Running Crew' to shake off the struggles of being an 'unknown comedian,' is also fighting his own battle. He exclaims, "I feel upset because I performed so poorly in the previous day's 5km run. This time, I will definitely show who Kim Seung-jin is," but contrary to his determination, his speed gradually declines, causing concern for onlookers.
In light of this, Yang Se-hyung, who is close friends with Kim Seung-jin, rushes over as the Head of Team, saying, "There are now 14 cameras rolling, are you not going to run properly?" providing a 'reality check' and performing the role of a 'Kim Seung-jin trainer.' Whether Kim Seung-jin can find the strength to run harder under Yang Se-hyung's affectionate encouragement is drawing curiosity about the scene and result of the 'Running Crew's' 'Loyalty Marathon.'
The results of the 'Loyalty Marathon,' which consists of a total of 30 laps, and the identity of the 'MVP team' can be confirmed in the second episode of MBN's 'Running to Live,' airing tonight at 8:20 p.m.
