Treasure is releasing a new album in Japan, continuing its unyielding popularity in the local market.
According to YG Entertainment on the 26th, Treasure will release a new digital single in Japan, 'SPECIAL JP SELECTION [PLEASURE],' at midnight on the 28th. This album will include the title track 'YELLOW' from the special mini album [PLEASURE], which has been praised for capturing Treasure's unique youthful energy, as well as the Japanese version of the pre-released song 'LAST NIGHT.'
With the original song having received great love from listeners in Korea as well as Japan upon its release, a good response is expected. [PLEASURE] has previously ranked first on both the Oricon weekly Western album chart and the iTunes K-pop album chart, and the tracks 'YELLOW' and 'LAST NIGHT' have demonstrated their strength by dominating the top tier of major local charts.
In addition, Treasure grants local music programs to expand its connection with fans. On the 26th, they will showcase a stage for 'SARURU' on NHK's 'Venue101,' and on the 28th, they will debut the Japanese version stage of 'YELLOW' during a special commemorating their 5th anniversary on TBS's 'CDTV Live! Meanwhile, Treasure is currently executing a fan concert tour [SPECIAL MOMENT] across a total of 9 cities and 17 dates. After successfully completing the Americas, including New York, Washington D.C., Oakland, and Los Angeles, they recently launched their Japanese tour.
In particular, through the Hyogo performance held on the 23rd and 24th, they gathered 36,000 people with three sold-out shows, setting a major record of achieving a cumulative audience of 1 million for Treasure's solo performances in Japan.
