KBS 2TV's "Boss's Ears Are Donkeys' Ears" (directed by Ahn Sang-eun, hereafter referred to as 'Sadangui') is a voluntary program for South Korean bosses aimed at creating a workplace that motivates employees through empathy and self-reflection. The 302nd episode recently achieved a record high rating of 6.5%, maintaining its position as the top entertainment program in its time slot for 151 consecutive weeks, according to Nielsen Korea.
In the upcoming episode 303 of 'Sadangui,' airing on the 27th (Sunday), Lee Soon-sil's appearance in Yeouido will be depicted. Previously, she opened a pop-up store for a new menu at Jung Joon-ha's Gangnam restaurant; this time, she is conducting market research in Yeouido. Lee Soon-sil stated, "I have plans to open a store in a few weeks," as she visits defector Jeon Chul-woo's restaurant in Yeouido to issue a challenge.
Amid a mini home shopping competition between Lee Soon-sil and Jeon Chul-woo for the sale of cold noodles, Lee Soon-sil expressed her disappointment, saying, "I haven't made a single sale on home shopping," and sought advice from home shopping king Yeom Kyung-hwan. Yeom Kyung-hwan revealed, "Currently, I have about 100 grants scheduled for home shopping appearances in a month, and I have nearly 300 sales records," making Lee Soon-sil's eyes light up. Yeom Kyung-hwan, who holds the throne in the home shopping industry, mentioned, "When I started in home shopping, I was renting, but after some time, I moved to a jeonse and now I own my place," showcasing his rapid asset growth.
Meanwhile, Yeom Kyung-hwan provides home shopping regulation guidelines to Lee Soon-sil. He said, "Statements like 'I'll break your head' are absolutely not allowed," giving practical advice to Lee Soon-sil, who has received ongoing warnings regarding her unfiltered remarks.
Observing this, Kim Sook expressed concern, saying, "The statement about breaking Hyun-mu's waist could also pose regulatory issues," to which Lee Soon-sil humorously responded, "I will say I will respectfully bend at the waist."
Attention is focused on whether Lee Soon-sil will be able to fulfill her dream of achieving a home shopping sell-out by following Yeom Kyung-hwan's home shopping regulation guidelines in the main broadcast of 'Sadangui.'
