NCT WISH is achieving popularity with their new song 'poppop' by winning two music show awards.
NCT WISH secured first place on KBS2's 'Music Bank' broadcast on the 25th with the title track 'poppop' from their second mini album, and following Mnet's 'M Countdown,' they climbed to the top of music shows, demonstrating their path as the 'top trend of 2025.'
After receiving the first-place trophy, NCT WISH said, "Thanks to the love from our fans, we received this award once again. We will show you even more beautiful sides of ourselves with the power of our fans. I also want to thank the SMTOWN family and the staff."
Additionally, the members wore cat headbands as promised to fans for their first place and performed an encore stage, expressing their gratitude by saying, "We love you, fans! Thank you!"
The title track 'poppop' is a dance pop song that combines a bouncy melody with NCT WISH's refreshing emotions, singing about the excitement felt when falling in love, where the world seems to come alive like a scene from an animation, making even familiar streets and landscapes feel new.
NCT WISH achieved their first million seller with their second mini album 'poppop,' sweeping various global charts, including first place on domestic major album charts, first place on the Korean Apple Music Top 100, first place on Japan's YouTube trending videos, second place in Korean YouTube trending music, first place on China's QQ Music K-Pop weekly chart, and first place on Japan's AWA real-time trending chart.
