Actress Kim Sa-rang put everything down and showcased her generous comedy acting.
In the Coupang Play 'SNL Korea 7', which was released on the 26th, Kim Sa-rang appeared as a host and challenged various skits with the crew.
Dressed in a white mini dress that revealed her chest, Kim Sa-rang boasted her unchanging beauty and figure. Hyuk-soo Kwon was left speechless by Kim Sa-rang's appearance, and Dong-yeob Shin introduced her by saying, "It's my first time feeling like this at a military base during the 'SNL' opening. She is a familiar face that excites just by her name, actress Kim Sa-rang."
Kim Sa-rang said, "I haven't been able to be active for a while, but I'm so grateful that many people came and welcomed me warmly. I can't believe how many of you came today, thank you so much." Dong-yeob Shin noted that although Kim Sa-rang is introverted and very shy, she becomes proactive when repaying the love from her fans, and introduced photos from fan meetings. Kim Sa-rang expressed, "It was in 2005, and I am so thankful that even people from local areas gathered to celebrate my birthday. I am still very grateful today. It was such a good memory. I will strive to bring smiles to you all, filled with that same gratitude."
In the first segment, 'The Elixir of Youth Substance', Kim Sa-rang acted as Jung Yi-rang, who was fired from a fitness center during her youth. After receiving a substance injection that is effective for 24 hours and regaining her youth, Kim Sa-rang was rehired at the fitness center, capturing everyone's attention. Not only men but women were also attracted to her, and just before the substance's effect expired after 3 hours, she went to a bar and met Kim Won-hoon, but ended up running out of time.
After the failure of her night-out with Kim Won-hoon, Jung Yi-rang dreamed of young love, returning to her teenage years with a substance injection. While creating a love line with Ji Ye-eun, Kim Sa-rang, who was attacked by Ji Ye-eun, did not understand terms like "cutting ties" and when she was called "auntie", she displayed her frustration by saying, "These things are so incredibly disappointing," and introduced the term "OTL" which signifies 'no despair'. As the calls for "auntie" continued, Kim Sa-rang took more substances and turned into Chu Sa-rang.
She then appeared in the segment parodying Kim Sa-rang's 2005 fan meeting, titled 'The Legendary Fan Meeting'. Kim Sa-rang appeared in the exact outfit she wore during her fan meeting back in 2005. Dong-yeob Shin, Kim Min-gyo, and Kim Kyu-won claimed to be Kim Sa-rang's super fans, but when Kim Sa-rang appeared, they couldn't say a word. Although they could only gather a participation fee of 10,000 won each, resulting in a party table that looked like an ancestor worship table, Kim Sa-rang expressed her joy by saying, "These are the things I like," and generously provided fan service, including giving autographs. Particularly, when Kim Sa-rang signed on Kim Won-hoon's T-shirt, she created a flirtatious scene that made everyone envious.
Kim Sa-rang received thoughtful gifts, including 1,000 origami cranes and knot keychains. When Kim Min-gyo brought an oversized coat, they wore it together, creating another flirtatious scene. During the 'Of course' game, she mentioned, "This fan meeting is our own memory, so absolutely do not post pictures on the internet," saying, "If you haven't married in 20 years, marry me," and when saying, "Do various works, not just commercials," she couldn't shout "of course." Kim Sa-rang smiled wryly and said, "That's not easy either." Kim Sa-rang concluded the segment by stating, "To all the fans who came to the fan meeting that day! Thank you so very much. I won't forget this. You will be my fans for life, right?"
After completing all the segments, Kim Sa-rang said, "It feels like today's day passed in less than an hour. It felt like we shot for about a week, but it went by in an instant. I thought comedy acting would be difficult, but I didn't realize it would be this hard. I feel like I will cherish 'SNL' even more since the crew worked so hard. I'm thankful that they treated me so well, even though my comedy acting is lacking."
