The video contained the closing scene from the sports news segment of SBS '8 News' broadcast the day before. This was also the day Kim Da-young left SBS.
In response, Kim Da-young said, "Today is the last day I deliver sports news. I have always felt excited and grateful every time I stood here." She also decorated the final ending with Baegyeong's sports news signature pose, expressing her affection.
Kim Da-young conveyed her honest feelings, saying, "I, who have lived my whole life without knowing a thing about sports, started doing soccer entertainment as soon as I joined, became a sports news anchor, MC for sports programs, and even main MC for international competitions like the Paris Olympics. She added, "I am truly proud and honored to be able to host SBS sports news, which announced the Baegerson Beagins! The final sports closing was done in a signature pose."
Meanwhile, Kim Da-young will marry Bae Seong-jae, who is 14 years her senior, this May after dating for two years. The two are expected to hold a family-only meal for the ceremony. With the upcoming marriage, Kim Da-young submitted her resignation letter to SBS and left the SBS Power FM 'Kim Young-cheol's Power FM,' which she had appeared on as a regular guest, after its broadcast on the 23rd.
