KBS2 'Immortal Songs' suggests that Yoon Sang's first son Rise Anton, followed by his second son, is also likely to debut as an idol.
KBS2 'Immortal Songs' (directed by Park Hyung-geun, Kim Hyung-seok, Choi Seung-beom) has been the unequivocal best music variety show, holding the number one ratings in its time slot for nearly 14 years. The 703rd episode airing today (26th) will feature part two of 'Artist Kim Hyun-cheol, Yoon Sang, Lee Hyun-woo.'
On this day, Yoon Sang reveals episodes between him and his first son Rise Anton. Yoon Sang, who has built a 30-year career as a singer, confessed that he had many worries about his son's debut as a senior in the music industry, surprising everyone. Yoon Sang said, "Since I think I know a bit about the music industry, I tend to worry about things I shouldn't worry about first."
Yoon Sang, who has been deeply concerned about Anton's future path, said, "One thing is for sure: seeing him practicing all night to gain my recognition made me feel, in the end, that there is 'no parent who wins against their children.' Now, I am cheering for him," expressing his true feelings and reportedly moving everyone.
Meanwhile, Yoon Sang brings forth a significant answer regarding his second son's future path, drawing everyone's attention. In response to the MC Shin Dong-kyu's question about his second son's current situation, Yoon Sang said, "There's a five-year difference between the first and second sons. After seeing the older brother, the younger one seems to have lost interest in studying. But what's funny is that the older brother told the younger brother, 'Shouldn't you study?'" adding, "If he thinks it's fate, I believe he will eventually take that path," stirring the studio.
In response, Shin Dong-kyu predicts that Yoon Sang's second son will also likely pursue the idol path, saying, "Isn't it natural for him to follow when he sees his older brother?" This prediction heats up the atmosphere. He then joked, "When I was young, I thought about how happy it would be to see Teacher Jo Yong-pil, and at that time, I didn't just write 'singer' as my dream but wrote 'Jo Yong-pil' instead," which reportedly made Yoon Sang burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, the second part is expected to feature a fierce competition with numerous male vocalists vying for the championship trophy, generating major interest. Legendary ballad singer Lee Seok-hoon, 'Asia Prince' Hwang Chi-yeul, 'trustworthy vocalist' Yoo Hae-sung, and 'the giant baby of Immortal Songs' Jung Seung-won will reportedly engage in a fierce battle, dramatically elevating expectations for the broadcast.
The highly anticipated 'Artist Kim Hyun-cheol, Yoon Sang, Lee Hyun-woo' episode had part one aired on the 19th (Saturday), and part two will meet viewers today (26th). It will be broadcast every week at 6:05 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
