ZEROBASEONE's Sung Hanbin expressed his feelings and determination about becoming the new face of "World of Street Woman Fighter."
The show, which premieres on May 27 (Tuesday) on Mnet, is the third season of the Mnet mega hit "Street Woman Fighter." It will meet viewers in a national competition involving a total of five countries, including South Korea, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, and Australia.
Sung Hanbin, the leader of ZEROBASEONE, has been selected as the MC to lead "World of Street Woman Fighter," raising expectations. With his genuine passion for dance and numerous MC experiences, he is expected to accumulate solid hosting skills.
Ahead of the premiere, Sung Hanbin noted in a Q&A interview, "I found all the previous series very enjoyable, and since I have past experience as a dancer, 'World of Street Woman Fighter' is a more meaningful program for me. I have a great interest in dance, enough to keep track of all the videos of dancers who have participated so far. As a fan, I am honored to take on the role of MC for 'World of Street Woman Fighter.'" He also mentioned the reactions of his ZEROBASEONE members regarding his joining as MC, stating, "They told me that 'Sung Hanbin' can just be 'Sung Hanbin' when he comes on board."
Meanwhile, "World of Street Woman Fighter" has assembled a luxurious global lineup of six crews: AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY. Sung Hanbin introduced his "genuine reaction" toward this extraordinary global lineup as a key observation point, expressing his desire to be remembered as an MC who does not miss anything in terms of hosting, visuals, dance skills, and reactions.

Q. Please share your feelings and determination about joining "World of Street Woman Fighter."
Since I found all the previous series very enjoyable and have past experience as a dancer, "World of Street Woman Fighter" is a more meaningful program for me. I am currently gaining experience to show a sufficient performance as an MC. I've studied a lot and practiced a lot, so I hope that you will look forward to and love the MC Sung Hanbin of "World of Street Woman Fighter."
Q. Do you usually enjoy watching street dance series like "Street Woman Fighter" and "Street Man Fighter"?
I have a great interest in dance, enough to keep track of all the videos of dancers who have participated so far. I have watched all the series so far, and I think I will love this "World of Street Woman Fighter" as well. As a viewer, I want to express that I am honored to be the MC of "World of Street Woman Fighter."
Q. I imagine you must feel significant pressure. Do you have a personal goal for what kind of MC you want to be?
It would be a lie to say there is no pressure. However, as a fan who has followed all the previous series, I naturally think, "From the viewer's perspective, what kind of appearance should an MC show to make it more enjoyable?" I believe it is essential to faithfully fulfill my role as an MC while creating the best environment for the participants to showcase their maximum abilities. Additionally, I want to be remembered as an MC who excels in terms of hosting, visuals, dance skills, and reactions.
Q. I'm curious about how your ZEROBASEONE members reacted when they heard the news of your joining.
Even without me having to say, "This is what I will be doing," my members always congratulate me whenever there is good news. Especially this time, (Park) Gunwook said, "I think you will be able to show very well the things you have accumulated until now. You can just be 'Sung Hanbin' when you come." Thanks to that, I feel like I can push myself even harder.
Q. With the premiere on May 27 approaching, can you share any points of anticipation?
Since many diverse dancers will be participating, the uniqueness of each team will be different. Not only in team competitions but also in individual battles, they will showcase their capabilities, during which my genuine reactions will emerge. I think this could also be one of the fun points.
