Brandi Glanville was urgently transported to the hospital after calling 911 while battling facial parasites.
Brandi Glanville, 53, who appeared on the American NBC cable channel Bravo TV reality show "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," was urgently transported to the hospital, shocking fans with her severe facial condition.
Glanville, fighting a mysterious disease that causes severe facial deformities, stated that she called 911 because she could not move her head and neck for hours and could not get out of bed.
She claimed she suffers from a skin disease that has disfigured her face due to a parasite infection and posted a photo of herself receiving an IV at the hospital. She wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "This morning, my head and neck wouldn't move for 4 hours. I couldn't even get out of bed."
Last week, Glanville informed her followers that she had spent over $70,000 (over 1.68 million won) on facial treatments and had seen no improvement. She also mentioned that discharge from her face has caused health problems in her eyes, teeth, and bones.
Brandi also complained of chills, adding, "All the lymph nodes in my head and neck are swollen."
A few days ago, she revealed that she seemingly wore a happy expression but actually felt "incredibly miserable." She stated, "My face looks worse than ever. It is literally melting away."
However, last December, a plastic surgeon expressed to TMZ that Glanville's appearance issues were not due to "parasites" but rather a reaction to injected substances, and it would take five years to fully recover.
