'The Queen's House' has released a highlight video that previews key episodes.
The new daily drama 'The Queen's House' (written by Kim Min-joo, directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi, produced by Flying Entertainment and Ascendio) is set to air for the first time on the evening of the 28th at 7:50 p.m. It tells the story of a woman who believed wholeheartedly in her perfect life only to have it completely stolen from her, leading her to seek vengeance and reclaim her life.
The released video captures the moment when Jae-in's (Ham Eun-jeong) peaceful life begins to collapse. Jae-in enjoys a happy married life with her beloved husband Hwang Gi-chan (Park Yoon-jae), but the shocking truth comes to light when Gi-chan is revealed to be in an inappropriate relationship with Kang Se-ri (Lee Ga-ryeong).
Soon after, an unprecedented incident occurs when Jae-in's son is kidnapped. The sight of Jae-in, who sheds tears after receiving a threatening phone call, evokes sympathy. Following this, Kim Do-yoon (Seo Jun-young) witnesses Jae-in's son fleeing from the kidnapper and begins to pursue without hesitation. Thanks to him, Jae-in safely retrieves her son, suggesting the beginning of an unusual connection between the two.
The reunion between Jae-in and Se-ri is also intriguing. Jae-in's words, "I'll apologize once again for what my mother did to you and your mother," stir curiosity about what transpired between the two in the past.
The introduction of Do-yoon's younger sister Kim Do-hee (Mi-ram) adds to the drama's excitement. Do-hee splashes water on Se-ri and gets slapped by Jae-in's mother, Choi Ja-young (Lee Sang-sook), raising questions about what is happening between them. Furthermore, the scene where she is involved in a hit-and-run accident orchestrated by someone provides intense suspense.
After the death of his younger sister, Do-yoon erupts in anger at Ja-young's shameless attitude and aims his vengeance at her daughter, Jae-in. His line, "Watch how I destroy the daughter you cherish so much. The happiness of the daughter you wanted to protect, I will crush it," clearly reveals Do-yoon's unwavering resolve.
Towards the end of the video, scenes of Gi-chan and Se-ri's endless desire rampaging are depicted, while Jae-in, betrayed by someone she trusted, says, "Kang Jae-in is all I need. No one can imitate me," signaling the official start of the queen's revenge and heightening anticipation for the broadcast.
